Peter has had a lengthy professional career, educating Tasmanian visual art teachers as lecturer at the Tasmanian School of Art and Faculty of Education, University of Tasmania.

His specific interests include drawing, painting, photography, video and graphic design.

He is an experienced Tasmanian watercolour artist well known for large, bold and colourful images of the Hobart waterfront which have become his signature -- delighting many local and interstate clients for several years. Water and the reflections of vessels in the harbour make for a fine atmosphere and the saturation of colour lends itself beautifully to the subject.
