Stuart has been painting for over 10 years and has sold paintings in Melbourne, Sydney, UK, Singapore, New Zealand, Canada, San Francisco and locally.

Stuart works in oils and acrylics. He paints predominantly abstract land and seascapes. The work is usually on a larger scale, with canvasses in excess of 3' and 6'.

Stuart is an avid bushwalker and his paintings capture the vast array of moods Tasmania offers on its coastal plains and rugged interior - the South East and South West Coast being a particular passion.

Stuart holds the work of Peter Barraclough, Michael Weitnauer and Geoff Dyer in high regard.
