Anne Sorensen
Tasmanian born Anne has always been interested in the arts, after completing courses in drawing and ceramics she discovered glass and developed a passion for expression in this medium.
Since 1992, Anne has been a full time glass artist. At the beginning of 2008, Anne moved her practice to a studio purpose built by her husband at her home. Her busy practice has secured commissions in many private homes as well as public spaces. Anne’s work can be seen at the Bayswater Swimming Pool, London Court, Trinity Arcade as well as in the restoration of the domes of the Supreme Court of Western Australia, to name a few.
Copper foiled Tiffany style lamps have been added to her repertoire. And the discovery of kiln formed glass is the most recent development.
