Jeannine Binoth lives and works near Stanley in Tasmania's North West. She is a full time weaver producing domestic items and her passion for weaving has evolved from early experiences such as weaving on backstrap looms in Guatemalan villages through to a traineeship under a German Master Weaver in Mittagong, NSW.

Jeannine's current focus is on capturing the light and colour of Tasmania on painted warps and highlighting these with traditional Scandinavian patterns in the weft.
